Brittany, geocaching: I'm going to go where my compass leads me.

11: 24 I'm on my bus home from a very busy night at work and since it's your B-day already, let me be the first (or at least early) to wish you a very special day. I hope it's full of love and laughs- two things you do best!

Barry and I went to the Bonsai club meeting last night, and I took three trees. I didn't really want to go --- was really more interested in going to the pottery barn, but I'm glad we went. For one thing, I learned a lot about trees in general, and some useful and cool things about my trees in particular.

Secondly, it is just nice to be in a place that is welcoming to gays, blacks, and Asians. I don't know where we'd all settle on politics, but at least on that one thing, there seems to be agreement and it comforts me.

Emailed John Boehner (sp). I don't think it'll do any good, but at least I got the words out of me.
